Statement of Condolence on the Passing of Pope Francis
The National Council of Women of Australia extends its deepest condolences to our members of the Catholic faith, and to Catholic communities around the world, on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.
As a global spiritual leader, Pope Francis was widely known for his compassion, humility, and commitment to justice, peace, and care for the most vulnerable. His advocacy for dignity, inclusion, and dialogue has touched many lives across all faiths and communities.
