The NCWA AGM and Conference ‘Removing the Gender Divide’ including delegates from NCW Constituent Councils from all Australian States was recenbtly held at HC Combes Centre, Kirribilli, (Tuesday, 17th of October 2023). A Reception was also held at Admiralty House on Tuesday evening hosted by the NCWA Patron, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley.

I had the privilege of being an inaugural member of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Women Economic and Equality Taskforce (WEET). Today, Senator Gallagher released the last WEET report that was finalised and submitted to her on 23 August 2023.

This decision affects the constitutional right to access safe termination of pregnancy, and may lead to dire repercussions and limitations for women accessing safe healthcare. National Council of Women SA Documentary – Flinders University Film Makers Final Cut – Community Voices Program

NCWSA has released a fabulous four minute documentary that seeks to honour each and every member organisation and individual member who joined NCWSA over the past 120 years and thus supported, believed in and inspired them over their long history. The documentary was possible through the Community Voices Program, that partnered Flinders filmmaking students and community organisations in the production of short documentaries and online video ads that recruit, promote and celebrate volunteers in South Australia.
