It is with great sadness that we report the passing on Saturday 12 March 2022, of NCW NSW esteemed member Mrs Joan Elliston AM. The funeral will be held 10am, Friday 25th March 2022 at St James’ Church,173 King Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The service will also be streamed live. With our sincere sympathy to her family, friends and colleagues.
National Council of Women SA Documentary – Flinders University Film Makers Final Cut – Community Voices Program

NCWSA has released a fabulous four minute documentary that seeks to honour each and every member organisation and individual member who joined NCWSA over the past 120 years and thus supported, believed in and inspired them over their long history. The documentary was possible through the Community Voices Program, that partnered Flinders filmmaking students and community organisations in the production of short documentaries and online video ads that recruit, promote and celebrate volunteers in South Australia. Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Act submission from ERA

NCWA affiliate, the Equal Rights Alliance (ERA) has produced a submission into the review of the Maternity Leave ( Commonwealth Employees) Act, which was submitted to the APS Commissioner 4 February 2022. The submission has been reported in the Canberra Times today. Read submission.
